Who We Are
Founded by Air Force Pilot, Josh Schaffer, Rog & Wilco operates under core values and principles reflected in our quality of work and management, as well as integrity and reliability when interacting with clients.
Rog & Wilco is pilot-speak for ROGER (acknowledgement / “yes”) and WILCO (“Will Comply”). As learned in the military, our name reminds us of the drive and dedication applied to our craft.
Built to Endure
Our build process reconnects us with our time in the military. We strive for a systems and process-based approach to developing, designing and building a home.
Our Process
We can take clients from an initial concept to reality. Each project is broken into three phases: Feasibility, Design & Entitlements and Construction. During the feasibility stage, we’ll deliver a zoning and/or structural assessment, cost forecast, and proposed floor plans to help decide if and when you want to move forward.
Design & Entitlements
During the design and entitlements phase we take clients through concept design, schematic design, construction documents, interior design, and permit submission. At each phase of the entitlement process, we are updating our cost forecast to ensure we are designing a project within a clients’ budget.
While this can be an overwhelming phase, we strive to break things into manageable steps so our clients don’t have decision fatigue while ensuring no detail is overlooked.
Construction
We aim to have all pre-construction planning and coordination done prior to breaking ground. This allows our construction team to implement plans in an efficient and effective manner while allowing our clients to thoroughly enjoy the build process.
